NEVER GIVE UP! Sometimes I feel defeated before I ever enter the writing arena, but the desire to press forward is always far greater than the notion to quit. Seriously! Have you hoped, prayed, been on numerous first dates, had your share of relationships…all to feel like the look on this dog’s face perfectly captures your own dating frustrations? I think we’ve all been there/done that, but I don’t know if anyone has experienced the debacles that Daisy has in “Dating Daisy Fields.” Can you relate to bad dates?
If you want to get anywhere in life, you first have to start. To lose weight, you have to start eating healthy and exercising. To be an athlete, you have to practice daily. To get an education, you have to start school. To be able to write your dream book or novel, you have to start. It can write itself in your head but the story can’t come to life until it hits paper. I’ve been where many find themselves…
It doesn’t matter if you’ve never been married. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been divorced one, two or a few times. It doesn’t matter that you’re a certain age and feel marriage has passed you by. It doesn’t matter what people think about your status. It doesn’t matter that you will be solo at the holiday gathering. What does matter is that you don’t feed the weeds of discouragement and despair. They quickly spread and kill the grass. There is…
